Authorities in Florida confirmed that 5-year-old Dahud Jolicoeur was found deceased in a waterway near his West Palm Beach home Saturday.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office and Florida Department of Law Enforcement reported Dahud missing earlier in the evening.

PBSO detectives, Marines, members of the Emergency Field Force Team and search and rescue dogs were searching for the child in the Worthington Estates community around 6 p.m.

Dahud was last seen around the 1800 block of Wood Glen Circle in West Palm Beach wearing a long sleeve white sweatshirt and gray pants. Officials said he was autistic, non-verbal and could not swim.

The 5-year-old was found in the body of water a block or so away from his home. PBSO asks the public to keep the Jolicoeur in thoughts and prayers.
