Arrest warrants have been issued for 20-year-old twin brothers in the fatal shooting of a 17-year-old Monday afternoon, according to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office.

Tatyanna Sherese Hannah was in a car at the intersection of Overlook Place and Hillside Drive just before 3 p.m. when she was shot.

She was taken to UAB Hospital for treatment but was later pronounced dead.

Officials said the teen was a passenger in a vehicle that was struck by gunfire. Another person received minor injuries during the incident.

According to the sheriff’s office, 20-year-old Ke’Andre Fuller and his twin brother, Ke’Autay Fuller, are both suspects in the shooting.

The twins are charged with capital murder, as well as discharging a firearm into an occupied vehicle and three counts each of attempted murder.

Officials say they have reason to believe that this shooting may be connected to the fatal shooting of a 15-year-old girl in Fairfield on Saturday afternoon.

The investigation is ongoing.
