On April 12, 2017, 29-year-old Ron Deshawn Turner pleaded guilty to first-degree murder of his son and dozens of sex crimes.
According to court documents, Turner killed the 18-day-old newborn, Prince Younique Ken Williams, on August 23, 2016 to stop rumors that he was the boy’s father. DNA testing confirmed Turner was the baby’s father.
Turner was interviewed and admitted to taking a pillow and holding it over the boy’s face for 10 seconds. He told police the girl had tried to suffocate the boy before he did but she was unable to, police reported in a court affidavit.
The 13-year-old girl said she watched Turner place a plastic bag over the boy’s head to attempt to suffocate him, according to the affidavit. She said Turner used the pillow when the bag didn’t work.
He told the girl, “this would stop the family rumors in reference to him being (the baby’s) biological father.”
Turner was actually the girl’s mother’s boyfriend.

Turner also admitted to sexually abusing the 13-year-old girl and four other girls between August 2015 and August 2016.
He pleaded guilty to 49 felonies, including the murder count, 39 counts of sexual abuse of a child and four counts of first-degree rape.
A co-defendant, 27-year-old Stephen Alexander Weeden, also is charged. Weeden, is facing six counts of first-degree rape, accused also of having sex with the 13-year-old girl.
Police reported the girl said both men had sex with her multiple times. She said Weeden never had sex with her unless Turner made him. She also said Weeden would guard the bedroom door when she and Turner would have sex.
The girl also said she sent nude photos to Turner and he also took some of her through social media and Kik. She told a police detective that “she knows what Turner did was wrong but she doesn’t want him to go to jail.”
Ron Turner was sentenced to life in prison plus 20 additional years. He’s being housed at the Lawton Correctional Facility.
