This psycho child pleaded guilty to violently killing his mom and then throwing a house party with her body still there inside the apartment.

Kit Darrant admitted to choking and stabbing his mother, 35-year-old Renette Emile, 14 times with a butcher knife in their north Miami apartment on March 27, 2012. The teen killed his mom during an after-school argument, a regular occurrence which often ranged from taking her car without permission, smoking marijuana to drinking. Darrant’s actions as a 16-year-old were gruesome.

In a scene straight out of Alfred Hitchcock’s “Psycho,” Darrant then skipped classes at Dr. Krop High School for the next week as his mother’s body decayed on her bedroom floor.

With his mother dead in the bedroom, police say Darrant showered and went to sleep, When he awoke, wrapped his mother’s body in bedsheets, cleaned up the bedroom, and sprinkled laundry soap and deodorant on the body to hid the stench of decomposition.

Four days later, he threw a party. One partygoer among the 60 classmates that crowded the apartment in the days after the murder complained of the smell, but Darrant said it was probably the trash.

For eight days, police said Darrant took care of his 3-year-old brother at their apartment in the sprawling Jade Winds complex near North Miami, coming and going.

Relatives kept calling, but he told them his mother couldn’t come to the phone.

Finally, his aunt, Rena Emile, stopped by the complex Wednesday night and discovered her sister’s body.

“Obviously something is wrong with that child, to want to kill your mother, I don’t know why he did it,” said neighbor Martin Bermudez.

Family members said that the boy and his mother had been having problems over the last several months. They said he refused to listen to her and she even sent him to some sort of boot camp.

“She thought he would have been better, you know, that’s why she sent him to boot camp,” said one of Emile’s sisters, Janet Baker.

The victim’s brother, who did not give his name, said, “He (Darrant) didn’t want to listen to his Mom. That’s the problem. He wanted to do his own thing.”

Darrant took a plea deal in Miami-Dade a court, agreeing to a 28-year prison sentence in the March 2012 second-degree murder of his mother.
