Tammyetta Michelle Spaulding was last seen in Jackson, Mississippi on September 2, 2016. She took her two children to school, then went to work at Comcast, but left her job early that day.

Tammyetta was last seen at a payday lending business in the 1000 block of Ellis Avenue. She spoke to a family member on September 3; this is the last time they heard from her. She was possibly en route to Louisiana at the time.

On September 5, her dark blue 2013 Chevrolet Equinox with paper tags was found abandoned behind a gas station close to Savanna Street and Interstate 55 south in south Jackson. The keys were missing, the car had been wiped clean of fingerprints and there was no trace of Tammyetta at the scene.

A hairdresser named Emma contacted Tammyetta’s aunt because Emma had met a woman who claimed she knew what happened to Tammyetta. The woman eventually called with disturbing, yet unconfirmed, information regarding the missing woman. Allegedly, Tammyetta’s death had something to do with an ex-boyfriend who used his “red truck” to dispose of her remains.

“A lady told them they might as well stop looking for their niece because they would never find her,” said Joysteen, Tammyetta’s mother. “Because they used a lot of acid to get rid of the body… The relationship she was in, she was pregnant for one guy and he called it off. She found out another girl was three months pregnant at the time she lost her baby.”

This information has not been confirmed.

When Tammyetta was 32-years-old, she suffered a heart attack. Two stents were placed in her main artery. Tammyetta is also diabetic and needs to take insulin daily. She reportedly didn’t have her medication with her when she disappeared.

Foul play is suspected in Tammyetta’s disappearance, but no one has been charged or named as a suspect in her disappearance. Her case remains unsolved.
