Four people were shot to death and four others were injured in a shooting Tuesday morning during a party on the South Side of Chicago, Illinois.
Police said the shooting happened around 5:30 a.m. Tuesday in the 6200 block of South Morgan Street in Englewood. Neighbors said there was a party at the residence.
Police said three women and one man were killed. Four other people were wounded.
Two men and the other whose ages are unknown, were shot in the back of the head. Both were taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in an unknown condition.
A woman, whose age is unknown, was wounded and taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center in critical condition.
A 23-year-old man self transported to St. Bernard Hospital with after being shot in the back. He was transferred to the University of Chicago Medical Center in critical condition.

At a press conference Tuesday, CPD Supt. David Brown said a 2-year-old girl was in the home when the shooting happened, but the toddler was not injured and is OK.
“We have a drum magazine which is a large-capacity magazine for gun. Not a gun. Several casings inside the house,” Brown said. “No apparent forced entry in the house at this point.”
The family of 19-year-old Shametria Williams is devastated after calling around various hospitals, only to find out she was one of the victims. Her father said Williams, a mother of a young child, was supposed to graduate Tuesday from the Country Club Hills Tech & Trade Center.
“I never lost anyone. A child. I know how it feels now,” father Demetrius Williams. “I understand what people go through now. It’s senseless. Why? Why does this have to happen? I just don’t get it.”
The other victims have been identified as 32-year-old Denise Mathis, 28-year-old Rantanya Rogers, and 34-year-old Blake Lee.
Mathis was a mother of five and Lee lived in the home.
