An Ohio man is charged with murdering a 6-month-old baby boy, court records say.

According to a complaint filed by Cincinnati police, 21-year-old Leandre Glenn purposely caused the death of the 6-month-old on or around June 15.

It is unclear how the baby died, but an incident report states it took place at Glenn’s home in the 3500 block of Reading Road.

Jail records show Glenn was arrested Saturday and is now at the Hamilton County Jail. Court records show that his bond is $100,000.

Glenn appeared in court on Monday where his attorney spoke to his cooperation with the investigation.

“Judge as to the allegations, they are serious. However, from June 15 to now, my client has stated to Hamilton County he knew of the death of the child,” Attorney Herb Haas said. “He didn’t leave. He didn’t run. He actually cooperated with law enforcement when they came in to pick them up just a day or so ago.”

A grand jury is set to hear Glenn’s case and report the findings by July 6.

The prosecutor’s public information officer said they are not providing any additional details as it remains an ongoing investigation.
