Authorities in Broward County, Florida are investigating a deadly stabbing early Saturday morning. Family members identified her as 39-year-old Tia Mack, and police later confirmed this as well.
“I just want justice for her. She didn’t deserve what happened to her,” said Patricia Ware, Mack’s sister.
Police located her body along Sistrunk Boulevard and Northwest 11th Avenue just after 6 a.m. Saturday morning. A memorial for Mack has been growing at the site.
According to police, officers arrived to find the victim suffering from several stab wounds. She was later pronounced dead at the scene.
“Why would he do that to her, she had her back turned, stabbed her in the back, he’s a f* coward. He is a coward,” Ware said.

Homicide detectives were seen searching the area for clues, trying to find evidence that will lead them back to the person responsible.
Authorities have yet to reveal any information about the victim or any possible suspects.
“She had people who loved her, who cared about her, and I wont rest until justice is served,” said Ware.
