The Cincinnati, Ohio man accused of murdering a 6-month-old baby in his care was indicted on additional charges Friday. Leandre Glenn faces murder, endangering children and gun charges.
Prosecutor Joe Deters said Glenn was caring for Christopher Walter on June 15. He was the only person watching the baby. Glenn is not Christopher’s biological father.
That evening, Christopher was unconscious when he was brought to Children’s Hospital. He was on life support for five days before he died.

The coroner determined Christopher suffered a traumatic brain injury and was hit in the head. There were also signs of strangulation on his neck.
The gun charges stem from Glenn’s arrest for Christopher’s murder.
“It’s been a tough year. I don’t know what would ever possess someone to do this to anyone, let alone such a young baby,” said Deters in a news release. “This callous disregard for human life is unbelievable, and we have seen way too much of
this in Hamilton County. It is our goal to bring Christopher and his short life some form of justice.”
Glenn could get life in prison if he’s convicted. He’s locked up on a million-dollar bond.
