Three people have been arrested on murder charges in connection with the death of a transgender woman in Clifton, Ohio in March.
33-year-old Franchez Rivers, 29-year-old Kiara Davis, and 28-year-old Christopher Hisle were arrested on Wednesday for the murder of 23-year-old Diamond Kyree Sanders, according to Cincinnati police.
Hisle has been in the Hamilton County Justice Center since April, after being arrested for illegally carrying a loaded gun in an incident unrelated to Sanders’ death. Hisle had a previous felony conviction at the time. He pleaded guilty Sept. 8 to felony charges including carrying a concealed weapon.
He also is charged with possessing “a large amount of marijuana.” That case is still pending.

Davis was arrested and jailed Thursday, records show.
Rivers, Hisle and Davis are charged with murder, aggravated robbery and felonious assault.
Police have said the killing was not related to Sanders’ gender identity. She was a victim of a robbery, they said.
Prosecutors have not provided further details. Court documents in Rivers’ case say only that he “did participate in a robbery that led to the death of the victim.”
On March 3 just before 4 a.m., Sanders was found shot in the parking lot of an apartment building on Morrison Avenue. She later died from her injuries.
In court on Thursday, the judge set Rivers’ bond at $2 million.
