Police are looking for a 31-year-old man after the fatal shooting of a woman Wednesday afternoon in southern Norfolk, Virginia.
According to police, they received a call around 1:10 p.m. about the shooting in the 700 block of Rockingham Street.
Police said the woman was taken in a relative’s car to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Police said she was pronounced dead shortly after arriving at the hospital. The woman has been identified as 25-year-old Rikeria D. Bibbins.

Police said Wednesday night they were searching for 31-year-old Lavon T. Williams, who has active warrants for second-degree murder and use of a firearm in connection with the fatal shooting.
