Sherman Jackson – Wanted For: Rape (7 Counts) And Gross Sexual Imposition

Sherman Jackson has been wanted in Trumbull County, Ohio since October 2010 on charges of gross sexual imposition and 7 counts of rape involving children younger than 13.

Investigators have followed leads to North Carolina and Arizona, but believe he may be back in Northeast Ohio. He has ties to Warren and East Cleveland.

Jackson has a history of working with church groups that involve young children. He pleaded guilty in 2005 in Trumbull County to trafficking in cocaine.

He is 6 feet and 190 pounds.

US Marshals Senior Inspector David Siler said they will never give up finding this alleged sexual predator of children. Siler knows Jackson fled Warren, OH and traveled to Arizona. After about nine months, Jackson went to Mexico and then to Jamaica. It’s possible he’s traveling back and forth, he added.

Siler worked to put Jackson on the elite G-7 list where there are only 9 fugitives featured. The G7 website said, “This initative aims to identify and apprehend wanted child sex offenders from across G7 countries (Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, United Kingdom and United States) by bringing together initatives relating to child sex offenders.”

Jackson has been running since 2010 and he’s incredibly computer savvy. Previously, according to authorities, he’s been connected to churches. Currently Jacksons family lives in College Park, GA. Anyone with information is asked to call the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force at 1-866-4WANTED. Reward money is available.
