A 15-year-old boy is in custody after sources said the teen allegedly shot and killed his mother and his 8-year-old brother in Prince George’s County, Maryland.
Sources added he also shot his father, but the father survived.
The shooting took place in the 8500 block of Wendy Street in Clinton, police confirmed Thursday night. Officers responded to the home around 5:50 p.m. where they found the woman and child deceased. Prince George’s County Police identified the victims as 44-year-old Taledia Oxley and 8-year-old Asa Oxley.
The man suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
Police searched the area for the teen suspect and found him in the neighborhood.
He is charged with first and second-degree murder, first and second-degree attempted murder and related charges. He has admitted to the shootings. He is in the custody of the Department of Corrections.
