Mobile police have charged four people in connection to the death of local rapper Honeykomb Brazy’s grandparents.
Mobile police arrested Darrin Southall, Terrance Watkins, Jamarcus Chambers. One unnamed suspect is not in custody yet. All four have been charged with two counts of murder and several counts of shooting into a home.
Tony and Leila Lewis were found dead inside of their home on Dr. Thomas Drive in Mobile, Alabama’s Happy Hill community one year ago after gunmen fired repeatedly into the building which also caught fire.
The day after the fire, the victims were confirmed to be the grandparents of Honeykomb Brazy, whose real name is Nashon Jones.
It is believed that Southall ordered the hit on Tony and Leila. Southall was already identified by Mobile Police as a person of interest in the murder back in May.
Southall is an accused drug kingpin who reached a plea deal in November of 2021. He already faces up to 35 years in prison for these charges.
