A teen was shot to death in a northeast Las Vegas mobile home Friday, and his brother has been arrested and charged with murder, according to a news release from the department.
Officers were dispatched to investigate a shooting at a residence near the 3900 block of North Las Vegas Boulevard at around 8 a.m. Friday and arrived to find the man suffering from a gunshot wound inside the home, the release stated.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The responding officers’ report stated that the man had been in a verbal altercation with his brother, 27-year-old Michael Miguel. During the argument, victim was shot by Miguel who then called police, according to the release.
Miguel was taken into custody without incident and was taken to Clark County Detention Center, where he was booked on a charge of murder.
The Clark County coroner’s office hasn’t released the identity of the victim yet.
