Six children are without a mother after a brutal homicide in Racine. Now, police and U.S. Marshals are searching for the woman’s suspected killer, who they believe is armed and dangerous.
Crime Stoppers is offering a $2,000 reward for information that leads to the whereabouts and arrest of that suspect – identified 41-year-old Terry Jackson Jr.
Police believe 41-year-old Terry Jackson killed 30-year-old Brittany Booker. Her body was found Sunday morning.
According to a press release from RPD, officers were called at 9:30 a.m. Sunday to the 1300 block of Villa Street for a report of a missing person. When police arrived, they found Booker deceased.
Family members said Booker was the mother of six children. They were home when she was killed.
Police said Jackson is 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs about 210 pounds. They believe he is armed and dangerous and urge residents not to approach him.
Jackson already has several warrants out for his arrest, including attempted homicide, for an incident that happened back in February.
Authorities say Jackson has ties to Chicago, Illinois and may be headed there.
Family members said Jackson beat Booker with a hammer.
According to social media conversations, Jackson is the boyfriend of a friend of Booker’s. He is suspected of attacking them both in February.
Several people who knew her told Racine County Eye that Booker was in nursing school or had recently graduated and worked hard to give her children the best life.
