A wanted Texas man charged with murder in the disappearance of a 24-year-old woman had allegedly searched online “how to get away with murder” and “does bleach destroy DNA” in the days after she vanished, court documents said.
Authorities are currently searching for 28-year-old Chukwuebuka Nwobodo after he was charged last week with murder and tampering with evidence in relation to Felicia Johnson’s disappearance in Houston two months ago.

According to court records, Felicia Johnson and Chukwuebuka Nwobodo agreed over Snapchat that he would pay her $500 to meet up with her.
Investigators believe the California woman was killed and dismembered inside the suspect’s apartment on April 16 before he disposed of her body — which still hasn’t been found — several days later.
Johnson’s cell phone was later found covered in blood in a nearby park.
Court documents obtained show that Nwobodo was allegedly captured on surveillance video buying trash bags, gloves, a mechanical saw, shovel and flashlight at a Walmart and Home Depot on April 16 and 17.
Over the next three weeks, he also allegedly searched online multiple times for how to destroy evidence.

Among the searches he plugged into Google were “how to kill without getting caught”, “how to be a serial killer”, “what does bleach do to blood” and “most forested part of Houston.”
A photo of a dismembered body was also allegedly found on Nwobodo’s phone, investigators said.
Authorities said they first honed in on Nwobodo after determining that he’d requested an Uber ride for Johnson from her hotel to his apartment the night she vanished after she’d posted an advertisement on an escort website.
When she first vanished, Johnson’s family said she’d traveled to Houston to celebrate her birthday and earn some extra money. They said Johnson had applied for a job as a dancer at a local strip club but was turned down.

The investigators were able to go through his phone after they arrested him during a May 13 traffic stop.
But he was released at the time because authorities said there wasn’t enough evidence to charge him in Johnson’s disappearance.
After searching the phone, authorities later found the supplies and DNA and blood that is a strong match to the victim inside Nwobodo’s apartment.
Authorities announced the charges against Nwobodo last week.
“Anybody can become a victim of a villain,” says Kathryn Griffin, who is the Human Trafficking Victim’s Services Director for Harris County Precinct 1 Constable’s Office.
That’s the first point Griffin says she wants to drive home, to let the murder of 24-year-old Felicia Johnson be a learning lesson. Don’t let her death be in vain and don’t think it can’t happen to you.
“It is so dangerous and every media outlet should be screaming from the rooftops on how dangerous this is, and let stories like this be known,” Griffin adds.
