An 18-year-old woman was killed and a 15-year-old and 16-year-old were shot in Northwest D.C. on June 26th, authorities said.

D.C. police were called shortly after midnight to a triple shooting in the 800 block of Quincy Street NW. A 15-year-old girl and an 18-year-old woman were found shot and were taken to hospitals, according to authorities.

The 18-year-old, Kyndall Myers, of District Heights, Maryland, did not survive her injuries, police said.

A third victim, a 16-year-old boy, walked into a hospital for treatment of a gunshot wound that was not considered to be life-threatening, police said.

More details on the circumstances of the shooting were not immediately known.
