The Anderson Police Department in South Carolina said officers are investigating a shooting that killed one person and injured two on Thursday night.
Officers said they responded to the Fairview Gardens apartment complex at around 9:36 p.m.
When they arrived, officers found one of the victims dead at the scene. The two other victims were taken to the hospital with injuries, but their conditions are unknown.
The Anderson County Coroner’s Office identified the young woman found dead on scene as 18-year-old Imani Yasmine Sade Clemons.
Imani Clemons is the little sister of Shy’Heem Clemons, a young man who died in the hospital back in July after he was shot at the Anderson Mall. He would have been 20 years old on August 23.
According to officers, they haven’t identified a suspect. However, they are following up on leads and investigating.
The Anderson County Coroner’s Office also responded to the scene.
