A 19-year-old Alabama girl was arrested over the weekend after police said she shot and killed her boyfriend following an argument in Anniston on Sunday.
Officers of the Anniston Police Department responded to the 4500 block of Sprague Avenue in reference to a gunshot victim at approximately 3:45 a.m.
When they arrived, they found a male inside the residence suffering from what appeared to be a gunshot wound. The victim was being transported to the hospital but died in transit.
The victim has been identified as 24-year-old Jacoby D. White.
Jada Cook was still at the scene when officers arrived at the shooting location. She was taken into police custody.
Cook has been charged with domestic violence-murder. She was transported to the Calhoun County Jail on $250,000 bond.
