A Florida woman is dead and multiple others are hurt after a shooting early Monday morning in Sanford.

According to the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were called to the area of CR46-A and Rinehart Road around 2:30 a.m. for a shooting involving two vehicles.

Officials said multiple victims are being treated at hospitals, and one woman has died.

Deputies believe a vehicle began shooting at another vehicle. Two dark-colored vehicles believed to be involved were towed away. Detectives say one of the vehicles is being processed for evidence.

31-year-old Princess Tolliver was identified as the victim. Her family is trying to figure out why this happened and hoping that deputies will arrest someone soon.

“She was a very outgoing young lady. A very sweet person. Lovable person,” said Tolliver’s grandmother, Barbara Flynn-Tolliver.

Flynn-Tolliver said family members are in shock. She said they don’t know why something like that would have happened to her.

“She was a very hard worker. She would do anything to help her other sisters. She had three other sisters. They were very, very close,” Flynn-Tolliver said. “Never dreamed something like this would happen to one of my grandchildren.”

Flynn-Tolliver believes her granddaughter was in Central Florida visiting for the weekend.

The suspect is still at large, but investigators do not believe the shooting was random.

Officials say more information will be released at a later time. The sheriff’s office is asking anyone with tips to call them at 407-665-6650.
