A missing 15-year-old Ohio girl was found dead in an alley from an apparent gunshot wound, according to Toledo Police.
According to TPD, officers received information on Monday that DeAsia Green, a freshman at Start High School, has been shot. Officers found the missing girl dead in an alley in the 1300 block of Page. Police said they are investigating the shooting as a homicide and did not identify any suspects. The circumstances surrounding her death are unclear at this time.
TPD said Green was a “habitual runaway. ” Investigators said the teen’s parents reported her missing earlier in the month after they realized there was something different about the teen being missing this time. Her parents gave a TPD search team information they had received, which led detectives to the area where Green’s body was found.
