Greensboro police in North Carolina have launched a murder-suicide investigation after two people died following an early morning shooting Saturday.
Investigators said that just before 5 a.m. officers were called to the 900 block of Ailanthus Street regarding an aggravated assault.
When they arrived, they found 34-year-old Ravett Patrice Robinson and 31-year-old Tevin Kewann Jolly both suffering from gunshot wounds. They both later died as a result of their injuries.
Investigators said that Jolly’s gunshot wound was self-inflicted and determined that the shooting had been a homicide-suicide.
Further investigation into the incident is ongoing.
