A gruesome discovery was made by the Rockdale County Sheriff’s Office in Georgia Monday morning as three people were found shot and killed at a Conyers home off Sugar Creek Lane.

The sheriff’s office said that all three victims were killed in a domestic incident by a man who lives in the home.

“Ultimately what took place was an argument that led to a shooting,” Lt. LeJohn Tate said.

At this time, the names of the victims and their relation to the suspect are not being released. However, we know those killed were 17, 50 and 51 years old.

Rockdale County Public Schools released a statement saying the district and Heritage High School “are deeply saddened by the loss of one of our students.” A district spokesperson said grief counselors are on campus and will be available to students, staff and families.

As for the suspect himself, deputies have identified him as 21-year-old Jailon Gray. He is currently in custody and being charged with three counts of aggravated assault and three counts of felony murder.

Deputies also said that there were other people in the home but, again, would not specify their relationship to the victims or suspect.

Deputies mentioned that they had been called out to that home before, though they did not specify the reasons.
