A Kentucky mother and her boyfriend are facing charges in connection to the death of 3-year-old Amoura Smallwood.
According to Kentucky State Police, a grand jury indicted 22-year-old Jordan Taylor. He’s charged with murder, first-degree sodomy (for a victim under the age of 12), and strangulation.
The toddler’s mother, 20-year-old Alexandra Ward is facing charges of complicity to commit murder and complicity to strangulation.
Ward was arrested by Kentucky State Police following an investigation and an indictment by a Whitley County grand jury. Both individuals have been taken into custody.
