A woman in Alabama was found shot and killed inside a Birmingham apartment Tuesday afternoon.
The Birmingham Police Department said officers responded to the Glenbrook at Oxmoor Valley apartment complex located at 2821 Sydney Drive around 1:00 p.m. to perform a welfare check at the request of the woman’s family.
Police said 59-year-old Monica Lynn Nichols was found unresponsive and pronounced dead.
There are no suspects in custody.
