A 35-year-old Kentucky woman was found dead inside a Taylorsville home that was on fire, according to reports.

Christiana Angel-Walker was found at a home on Chatman Lane after Kentucky State Police were called there around 4:15 p.m. on May 29.

The house was reportedly on fire. When they arrived, troopers found Angel-Walker’s remains inside the home.

KSP detectives have taken over the investigation. They say more information will eventually be released.

On Saturday, family and loved ones of Christiana Angel-Walker gathered to demand justice and bring awareness to her case. They say they’re still trying to understand why the 35-year-old mother’s life tragically ended, and her 7-year-old son’s, Christian, whereabouts are unknown.

“Not knowing where he’s at. Is he safe? Is someone hurting him? The trauma. He’s already lost so much,” said Nikkie Garrett.

She was known by loved ones by her middle name, “Angel.”

Family says they have also been searching for Angel’s son, who is missing. They suspect he’s with Angel’s husband, but the family says they have not had contact with him. The child’s biological father says he’s still in disbelief.

“I don’t know where he’s at. Nothing. I don’t know,” said Roman Cox.

The results of Angel’s autopsy have not been released yet because it’s an ongoing criminal investigation, but family says they suspect foul play. They’re hoping anyone with information will contact authorities.

“I just want them to come forth and give this family the peace that they deserve, and the justice they deserve and the honesty,” Garrett said.

Kentucky State Police is investigating. They say more information will be released as it becomes available.
