A 39-year-old Pennsylvania woman who was hit by a vehicle in McKeesport Wednesday night has died and police say the man responsible intentionally hit her.

Allegheny County police say 31-year-old Brandon Pendleton intentionally hit Misty Lack following an argument.

The disagreement began when Pendleton allegedly touched someone inappropriately inside her home. Lack told Pendleton to leave and things turned violent, according to the complaint.

Pendleton reportedly refused to leave, and police said Lack threw a microwave at his car, shattering the back window. In a rage, police said Pendleton drove his vehicle towards her and two others. Lack was hit, her body was tossed onto the hood of Pendleton’s car, and then run over in the street before he took off.

Pendleton hit Lack in a front yard on Jenny Lind Street with his vehicle, carrying her on the roof across the lawn, and then ran her over, according to the complaint.

Allegheny County Police say first responders arrived and found Lack in critical condition. She was taken to a hospital where she was pronounced dead.

Police said Pendleton fled. They found his vehicle Thursday morning, then eventually tracked him down.

Pendleton was charged with criminal homicide, aggravated assault, terroristic threats, and criminal attempted homicide. He will be housed at the Allegheny County Jail, awaiting arraignment.
