An Oklahoma man was arrested for murder following a deadly shooting during an argument, according to reports.

A heated altercation culminated in a fatal shooting at Aloha Backyard in Oklahoma City. Law enforcement apprehended a 21-year-old suspect, Johnathon Thomas, believed to be directly involved in the murder of 31-year-old Justin Smith.

Early Monday, police officers were alerted and dispatched to the scene around 3:30 a.m. They found a grim tableau awaiting them – Smith was discovered lifeless, the victim of gunshot wounds.

Smith was later pronounced dead at scene, while Thomas remained on scene and was arrested on a complaint of first-degree murder.
