An Alabama woman has been charged with murder and attempted murder after authorities say a social media feud turned deadly in Semmes, according to reports.

According to the Mobile County Sheriffs Office, on Friday, August 11, the Semmes Police Department responded to Ponderosa Drive S in reference to a shooting.

Semmes Police Officers discovered the victim, Honesty Holloway-Wilkerson was deceased. The second victim, Germany Holloway-Wilkerson was located down the street at a neighbors home suffering from a gunshot wound to the right thigh.

Semmes Police Department had the suspect, Curtellius Denise Tapaingea James, in custody and contacted Mobile County Sheriff’s Office requesting they take over the investigation.

Mobile County Sheriff’s Office Crime Scene Unit and Major Crimes Detectives responded to the scene, and detectives began interviewing witnesses.

Two witnesses stated they left with James to go to local restaurant.

When they returned to Ponderosa Drive S, all of James’ belongings were in the yard, her vehicle was keyed and all four tires were flat.

Witnesses stated Honesty and Germany Holloway-Wilkerson came to the address above and began arguing with James. James fired a shotgun at Honesty hitting her in the chest and then chased Germany as she was fleeing the scene, shooting her in the right thigh.

Witnesses also stated that Honesty Holloway-Wilkerson and James had been fighting back and forth over social media but they were unaware of what the argument was about.

Germany Holloway-Wilkerson was taken to a local hospital.

Curtellius Denise Tapaingea James was taken to Metro Jail and charged for the murder of Honesty and the attempted murder of her sister, Germany.
