Two people were killed in Mississippi during an “ambush-style” murder and four suspects are now in custody, according to the sheriff.
Adams County Sheriff Travis Patten said the shooting victims were identified as 26-year-old Brandon Brooks and 24-year-old Taron Woods.
The shooting happened on Myrtle Drive in Natchez on Thursday, August 10. Patten said Brooks and Woods had multiple gunshot wounds to the body. They both died at the scene.

17-year-old Jamarion Perkins surrendered to ACSO on Wednesday, Aug. 16, and has been charged with two counts of murder as an adult. ACSO later arrested 24-year-old Jadarrius James McKnight within the city limits of Natchez, also on two murder charges. 18-year-old Zackeri Reason was arrested at the Adams County Sheriff’s Office Thursday and charged with accessory before the fact of murder.
Emanual Hall, also known as “Emanuel Hill,” one of four men wanted connected to violent, ambush-style murders, turned himself in at the Adams County Sheriff’s Office at approximately 2 a.m. Sunday, Adams County Sheriff Travis Patten said.
Hall has been charged with two counts of murder.
“He (Hall) turned himself in after three days of me talking to his family and attorney,” Patten said Sunday morning.
Images from security videos taken in the Myrtle Drive area show three people who appeared to be carrying assault weapons while dressed in dark-colored clothing, gloves and full-face coverings.
Justice Court Judge Audrey Minor ordered Perkins and McKnight to each be held on a $2 million bond. Reason was also ordered to be held on a $1 million bond for accessory before the fact of murder.
