A 19-year-old Oklahoma woman in Stillwater has been arrested and faces multiple charges after police say her boyfriend found some disturbing pictures in her phone while she was sleeping, according to reports.
According to the Stillwater Police Department (SPD), on August 22, at 10:11 a.m., an officer responded to the SPD lobby where he met with a very distraught parent.
Police said the parent disclosed he recently met a girl online from the Oklahoma City area. She became his girlfriend and moved in with him. While she was sleeping, police say he went through her phone and found disturbing images and videos of his three-year-old daughter.
Ashlee Cheatham was later contacted by SPD officers and detectives. Cheatham was arrested and transported to the Payne County jail where she was booked without incident.
Cheatham faces charges for sexual abuse of a child under 12, making or distributing types of obscene material or child pornography, possession of marijuana, and violation of Oklahoma computer crimes act.
