A 45-year-old Kentucky woman died and a man was injured in shooting early Sunday, according to reports.
According to Louisville Metro Police spokesman Dwight Mitchell, officers with LMPD’s 4th Division responded to a report of a shooting about midnight in the 1500 block of Berry Boulevard. That’s near Powell Avenue in the Jacobs neighborhood.
Upon arrival, officers found a woman and a man had been shot. Both were transported to UofL Hospital where the woman later died. The man has minor injuries, Mitchell said.
On Sunday afternoon, the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office identified the woman as 45-year-old Crystal Fultz.
LMPD’s Homicide Unit is investigating, and Mitchell said everyone involved “has been accounted for.” It is unclear if there are any suspects.
