A man and woman in Alabama were shot to death early Sunday inside a southwest Birmingham home, according to reports.

Birmingham police identified the victims as 24-year-old Jacquic Little and 28-year-old Damon Thomas.

Just before 2:30 a.m., the city’s gunfire detection system – Shot Spotter – alerted police to shots fired in the 1800 block of Fulton Avenue S.W.

While they were en route, West Precinct officers were notified that a man was shot, said Officer Truman Fitzgerald.

When they arrived at the home, police found Little and Thomas wounded inside. Both were pronounced dead on the scene.

Fitzgerald said details about what led up to the shooting are limited.

Anyone with information in Sunday’s double slaying is asked to call detectives at 205-254-1764 or Crime Stoppers at 205-254-7777.
