Police arrested two teenage suspects in connection with the execution of a Texas woman, who’s body was found in a San Antonio field, according to reports.

18-year-old DeMarcus Whitley and 17-year-old Zephaniah Taquil Cleaver were both charged on Monday with the murder of 24-year-old Desiree Fisher. 20-year-old Calaseo Merci Brown was arrested on Oct. 4 and also charged with her murder.

Police found Fisher’s body around 4:30 p.m. on Aug. 4 in a grass field off Southcross Ranch Road near Loop 410.

Officers determined that she had been shot to death after finding multiple gunshot wounds on her body. Multiple shell casings were found by investigators near Fisher’s body. Police believed that Fisher’s body had been there for some time since rigor mortis had set in, which signs appear about two hours after death.

Several witnesses said they heard the gunshots, but didn’t actually witness the shooting. One witness said they saw two vehicles parking along the road that night, and saw and heard gunshots being fired from inside the vehicles toward the field, according to the arrest report.

A missing person’s report was filed on Aug. 5 for Fisher, which detectives were able to link to the homicide through fingerprint identification.

According to the arrest warrant, witnesses told police that Brown said that “I’m finna kill this bitch” before he drove away with Fisher in her red Mercedes-Benz. Witnesses said the Fisher and Brown were dating.

Hours later, Fisher’s body was found in the field.

Investigators linked Fisher’s Mercedes-Benz to the Southcross Ranch location just before 12:30 a.m. on the night of the murder.

Cell phone and social media records turned up messages that said “Devo pulled the trigger,” which is Whitley’s nickname, “K.o. set it up,” which is Brown’s nickname and “zeph was there,” which is the nickname Cleaver goes by, according to the arrest report.

According to the arrest report, Whitley was sitting in the back seat of the Mercedes-Benz right behind Fisher as they were driving to the eventual murder scene. Another vehicle was also following. Brown said that Whitley then shot Fisher in the head before she was shot multiple times by other suspects. Brown said several other people were in the other vehicle, but didn’t know how many. A total of 12 suspects could be involved in her murder, according to the arrest report.

Whitely and Cleaver were both arrested on Oct. 31 by U.S. Marshals in Harris County before being transported back to Bexar County.

Along with the murder charge, Whitley is also facing charges of evading arrest and unauthorized use of a vehicle. He is being held in the Bexar County Jail on a combined $283,000 bond.

Cleaver was also booked on a theft charge, as well as murder. His bond is set at $280,000. Brown is still in jail on a $200,000 bond. He’s due in court for a pre-trial hearing on Wednesday.
