A 31-year-old Michigan woman has been charged in the November death of a 1-year-old girl in Kalamazoo, according to reports.
Tiffany Moore was one of the two people who was reported to be with the child the day of the alleged abuse.
Officers found 1-year-old Jermany Coleman with “significant trauma” at a home on Michigamme Woods Drive near Ojibwa Trail Oct. 28, according to Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety.
Coleman died on Nov. 1 after being hospitalized with critical injuries, police said.
On Tuesday, Moore was charged with felony murder, second-degree murder, and first-degree child abuse – all felonies punishable by up to life in prison.
Moore is due back in court for a probable cause hearing Jan. 2, 2024. Her bond was denied.
