An 18-year-old Ohio woman is dead after a New Year’s Eve killing in Cincinnati, according to police.
Hannah Leath-Smith was found fatally shot around 6:30 p.m. Sunday inside an apartment on Dawn Road, Cincinnati police said in a press release.
18-year-old Jakari Thompson was arrested early Monday and charged with murder and a weapons charge. He is being held on a $770,000 bond at the Hamilton County Justice Center awaiting trial.
Police have not said what led to the killing.
