Illicit Deeds, founded November 21, 2018 by Buffy Gunner was created to give a voice and face to missing persons and murder cases that mainstream media tends to look over. To date, Illicit Deeds has shined a light on hundreds of cases throughout the country. In doing so, victims families have had an opportunity to ensure their loved one isn’t forgotten.
Recently, Gunner has organized search parties for missing children and become a support system for families during desperate times. Although many of the stories shared on Illicit Deeds have a violent and tragic outcome, Gunner believes it’s imperative to continue to share those stories. With hopes that readers become more cognizant of the signs that could prevent these outcomes and so that unsolved cases will be solved through tips and new information.
