Milwaukee police are investigating the shooting death of a 24-year-old Milwaukee woman.
Police said a double shooting took place about 5:45 a.m. Saturday near 41st Street and Lancaster Avenue.
The Milwaukee woman and a 22-year-old Milwaukee man arrived at a hospital with gunshot wounds.
The man had non-fatal injuries.
The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the woman as 24-year-old Jenny Her.
Family members said she was six months pregnant.
Her planned to name her daughter Amaya.
Her’s twin sister said in part, “She had a strong heart of Gold who always looked out for people around her. This hit the community, as she will be missed.”
Police continue to look for the shooter or shooters.
