Authorities in Ohio have released surveillance footage of a triple murder in an effort to solve the crime.
Columbus police believe the December 7 killings, which included two young children, were carefully planned.
In the video, to the far right of the screen, you can see one of the victims, a 9-year-old boy, moving around in the car just before the shooting.
“Obviously, you can see there are two suspects,” said Detective Terry Kelley.
The two suspects fired off dozens of rounds, killing the boy, his 6-year-old sister, and their mother’s boyfriend, 22-year-old Charles Wade.
“This is absolutely one of the most cowardly homicides I think I have dealt with, because they waited until they were at the advantage,” said Det. Kelley. “They waited until all three people were inside the car, then they snuck up, and emptied two full magazines.”

Det. Kelley says he is frustrated more people haven’t come forward with first-hand information about the crime.
“It has pissed me off. I’m mad as hell about this,” he said. “I’m mad because I don’t have it solved yet. I’m mad because people aren’t calling in and saying, ‘This was who did it.'”
He released the video of the murders, with the family’s blessing, in hopes it will compel someone to give him the information he needs to make an arrest in the case.
“There’s no doubt in my mind there are plenty of people who know what happened that night, and they know who is responsible,” said Det. Kelley. “Those are the people I want to talk to.”
Columbus police are looking for a dark 2010 Nissan Altima and a Jeep Grand Cherokee with dark tinted windows in connection with the suspects.
Investigators have several theories on the possible motive, but nothing they want to release at this time.
