This is Antonio Hollingsworth. He was half way beaten to his death by four white men in Cleveland, Mississippi on April 1, 2022.

Those four men locked him inside of a NAPA auto parts store and beat him to the point where he was almost unrecognizable. He said one of his attackers took a picture of him after they assaulted him right in front of officers.

Still, Antonio was placed in handcuffs. They claim he was a burglar. However, he wasn’t on the arrest list at all. So, why was he handcuffed in the first place?

“A guy called me and asked if I was Isaiah or Isaac and swung on me. And we started fighting, and his brother came and grabbed me, and he hit me with something and knocked me out, and when I woke up, I was inside the garage,” Antonio told WREG.

They never arrested any of the four white men who assaulted and kidnapped Antonio. There isn’t an investigation going either.

Cleveland Police Chief Charles “Buster” Bingham said they got a call about a burglary in progress and a fight at NAPA Auto Parts on South Davis.

He said when officers arrived, someone was standing at the shop door telling police to hurry and Antonio was escorted out of the building by two men.

Chief Bingham told WREG, Antonio was placed in handcuffs before he was transported to the hospital because he was identified as the suspected burglar.

Antonio said he was just walking through the parking lot when he was attacked by employees there and held against his will.

Bingham said they wanted to talk to Hollingsworth about the incident but haven’t been able to find him since he was released from the hospital.

“My attorney told me not to talk to anyone. I am afraid to talk to them. I’m really dodging them,” Antonio told WREG in an interview.

Antonio has broken bones under his eye, and his vision is impaired. He says his family has been in touch with a civil rights attorney.

A source told Illicit Deeds that one of the men involved in the assault Grandfather was involved in the lynching of Emmett Till. However, that information has not be confirmed.

Shouldn’t those four men answer for their crimes? Why weren’t they arrested? Where is is Antonio’s justice?
