Deputies in South Carolina have arrested a woman and charged her in the shooting death of a man found dead behind a Greenville home.
22-year-old Ivy Brianna Robinson is charged with murder in the death of 24-year-old Curtavious Smith, Greenville County Sheriff Lt. Ryan Flood said.
The Greenville County Coroner’s Office said Smith died from a gunshot wound to the head.
Robinson is being held on no bond after a hearing Friday morning. Flood said Robinson shot and killed Smith, who lived at the home with her, following a verbal and physical fight over a vehicle.
A warrant said Robinson used a handgun in the shooting.
He said they found Smith in the backyard of the residence suffering from at least one gunshot wound.
Robinson is also charged with possession of a weapon during a violent crime.
Robinson remains in the Greenville County Detention Center.
