An arrest has been made after a 29-year-old Florida woman was killed in a shooting Thursday night in Orlando.

Deputies said 23-year-old Keyvon Daley was identified as a suspect and taken into custody Friday.

Daley is accused of killing 29-year-old Sierra Polson who Daley was in a relationship with, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.

Crime scene investigators responded to a house on Greenleaf Drive, indicating that the shooting likely occurred inside the home.

The neighborhood street is located just off Forest City Road.

According to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, they received a call about a shooting close to 10 p.m. Thursday evening at the location.

Deputies said they found Polson, who had been shot. She succumbed to her injuries after being rushed to the hospital.

Some neighbors reported hearing yelling and screaming before authorities arrived.

The sheriff’s office said the suspect, Daley, had two previous arrests related to domestic violence, according to the sheriff’s office.
