Police in Georgia are investigating after a couple was found dead inside a car near a Chick-fil-A.

Rome Police Department officers were called out to the Chick-fil-A Wednesday at about 7 a.m. for reports of people found dead inside a car. Once officers arrived, they found the car with Anthony Green and Cassie Davis inside.

Investigators learned that Green and Davis were a couple, the news outlet reported.

Investigators believe that Green shot and killed Davis before he turned the gun on himself. Both Green and Davis were pronounced dead at the scene.

The Chick-fil-A restaurant said they will remain closed for the day and will reopen Thursday morning.

No information has been released about what led up to the apparent murder-suicide.
