A 22-year-old Wisconsin man was arrested in connection to Tuesday morning’s deadly shooting in a Milwaukee park, according to reports.
According to the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO), a 20-year-old Milwaukee man was taken into custody Tuesday evening after a 22-year-old man was shot and killed in the park.
The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the victim as Naquon N. Henry.
MCSO says authorities first learned Henry was shot in the park multiple times sometime after 3 a.m. Milwaukee police records show officers responded to the area around 3:15 a.m. The man was pronounced dead at 3:29 a.m.
The suspect was found at a residence and arrested without incident.
The case has been referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office for criminal charges.
