Las Vegas Metropolitan Police arrested Miljus back in 2019 for allegedly bludgeoning his wife, 33-year-old Zvjezdana Bencun, at their home near Fort Apache Road and Sahara Avenue.

Police wrote in an arrest report that Miljus was found in a bed lying next to Bencun, and she was taken to a hospital where she was later pronounced dead.

According to an arrest report from LVMPD, Miljus bought a baseball bat and other items on the day of the attack. He then attacked Bencun with the bat while she was sleeping in bed.

Bencun’s mother told a Bosnian newspaper that her daughter was in the process of seeking a divorce.
