Two people were shot Tuesday evening, crashed their vehicle in Toledo, Ohio and were later declared dead at the hospital, according to Toledo police.

The deaths of 21-year-old Jae’Juan Reid and 21-year-old Kejuan Richardson are classified as a homicide, according to an autopsy report from the Lucas County Coroner.

Officers responded to the scene just before 5:45 p.m. on Rosedale Avenue, just west of the Monroe Street and Auburn Avenue intersection.

Reid and Richardson were found suffering from gunshot wounds inside a blue car. The car had seemingly gone off-road and crashed into a light pole.

Reid was declared dead at 6:03 p.m. from two gunshot wounds to the head and Richardson was declared dead at 6:19 p.m. from two gunshot wounds to head and neck.

TPD officers at the scene Tuesday said the two victims died at the scene of the crash. It is unclear exactly where the shooting occurred.

Police said no one has been detained.
