Nelson’s body was found in a garage in the 5500 block of Drexel Street in Detroit on March 2, more than two weeks after her family last heard from her. Nelson was reported missing on February 16.

Family members said prior to Nelson’s body being found, she told family that she was being held against her will.

Reeves and Nelson had a child together, according to police.
